With the aid of competent professionals, MedPro USA offers physical, occupational, and speech-language pediatric-specific therapy.

Children-Centric, Family-Focused Pediatric Therapy your Little One Deserves

Every child is unique in their own way. Some of them need a little bit of help to get along and have a shot at a better quality of life. Facilitating this better quality of life and professional care is what MedPro USA stands for.

Comprising a team of highly-trained LVNs, RNs, and other professionals, we have a pediatric-specific program that cares for children from birth to 20 years of age. Our Pediatric Therapy Services offers occupational, physical, and speech-language therapy.

Focusing on Family

For us, the children are our focus, but we also consider the parents/guardians/other family members an essential part of the team. Working together, they will help you understand the child’s areas of need and provide the right intervention.

At MedPro USA, our rehabilitative therapy services are focused on providing ongoing quality care within their homes. The comfort of a familiar environment, in addition to the professional therapist, ensures better learning potential for the children.

We understand that early intervention can make all the difference for children with disabilities. It can help them overcome their developmental delays while giving them the chance to improve physically.

Our aim is to help children reach their full functioning potential. Regardless of whether the condition is temporary or complex and chronic, our level of care remains consistent. Each of our nurses and therapists is highly trained to ensure better therapeutic outcomes for your child.

PHYSICAL THERAPY (PT)

Physical disabilities can be a result of a congenital disease, health conditions or an injury. If they cause movement dysfunction, your child might be in need of physical therapy to improve their mobility and strength.

We focus on different aspects of physical therapy to ensure any possibility of restoring function and motor skills isn’t missed. The therapy also helps manage current disabilities and prevent/limit permanent ones.

PT helps to improve

  • Gross motor skills
  • Balance and coordination
  • Strength and endurance
  • Gait training
  • Range of motion
  • Functional mobility

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (OT)

For a healthy individual, tasks such as writing, holding a pencil, turning on the lights are minuscule. We don’t really think about them as we go about our day. However, some children with special needs and conditions like Sensory Integration Disorders need some help to self-regulate their ability to perform everyday tasks.

This includes fine motor play, development of hand-eye coordination, visual-motor skills, and self-help skills, so the rest of the day becomes much easier for them to navigate.

OT helps to improve

  • Fine motor skills
  • Eye-hand coordination
  • Upper extremity strength and coordination
  • Visual-motor skills
  • Visual perceptual skills
  • Sensory processing
  • Self-help skills

SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPY (SLT)

Did you know that 1 out of 12 children in the United States has a speech, language or swallowing-related difficulty?

Since language and speech skills are the basis of all interactions, it is important their abilities are facilitated. Our speech-language therapy includes helping children develop and improve their verbal communication and articulation.

As language is more than just words, our therapy program is also inclusive of non-verbal communication. This helps them develop the ability to produce and understand different physical cues when communicating with others.

SLT helps to improve

  • Verbal/ non-verbal communication skills
  • Articulation
  • Speech production
  • Feeding and swallowing
  • Memory/retention skills
